V2 Businesses Linkedin Posts Enrich

Description

The Company’s Social Media Presence Enrichment endpoint provides insights into a company’s Social media activity, engagement trends, and posting behavior. This dataset is valuable for brand analysts, marketers, and business strategists looking to assess corporate communication trends and social media reach.
Credit usage — charged per requested IDUnlike other enrichment endpoints, which charge credits only for entity IDs that return results, this endpoint charges credits for every business_id included in the request — whether or not results are returned. A request that returns no posts still consumes credits.
The data includes:
  • Volume of Social media posts over a given period.
  • Engagement metrics, such as likes, shares, and comments.
  • Trending topics and key themes in company communications.
This information is sourced from public Social media data and corporate social media feeds to offer a comprehensive view of a company’s digital engagement and brand presence.
v2: this endpoint accepts either a single ID (a string) or a list of up to 50 IDs — the separate /bulk_enrich route is gone. See v2 conventions.

Enrich by company details instead of IDs

business_ids is the primary way to call this endpoint. If you don’t have Explorium IDs yet, you can send businesses_to_match instead: up to 50 companies, described with the same fields the Match businesses endpoint accepts (name, domain, url, linkedin_url). Each company is matched and enriched in the same call. Send either business_ids or businesses_to_match, never both (that returns a 422). Any parameters the endpoint takes work the same either way.
Each row echoes its input and returns the matched business_id. Companies that don’t match come back with business_id: null and data: null, and aren’t charged. total_matches counts the matched rows.
  • Input: Provide a business_id obtained from the Match Businesses API.
  • Processing: The system retrieves Social media activity, post frequency, and engagement trends.
  • Output: A structured response summarizing social media presence and key engagement metrics.
This endpoint uses a different charging model than other enrichment endpoints:To avoid spending credits on IDs that are unlikely to return data, make sure you use valid business IDs retrieved from the Match Businesses endpoint.
  • Use social media insights to track brand perception and digital engagement trends.
  • Analyze posting behavior to understand a company’s content strategy and outreach.
  • Leverage engagement data to benchmark a company’s influence against competitors.
  • Monitor trending topics to gain insights into corporate priorities and industry focus.
Key Consideration:
  • Credits are charged per requested business_id, even when no results are returned — unlike other enrichment endpoints, which charge only for IDs that return data.
